We ended up in the bar for the evening- a lovely fire was burning, nice comfy furniture and the staff stayed on making our drinks into the wee hours of the morning. We went to breakfast in the morning and that's when the wheels fell off. The staff were friendly but the layout-of the room was terrible, with all the hot food around the egg station so people were left waiting in line because of others waiting on eggs or omelettes. The food was also warm not hot but tasty. There was no juice, or coffee cups and the hot water for a tea was also part of a very small coffee station - so again backlog. We were told there were no tables so we were sat outside - luckily it was a fine morning (albeit a bit cold) if it had been raining we would have been turned away. We would not be having breakfast there again if changes weren't made. I really enjoyed the swimming... Didn't have much gf and df options. As well as halaal. The bathroom/ toilet. Toilet pan mould looking inside. Fixed shower 🚿head with water going in all directions.
