We loved the person who checked us in! I did not get her name, but she was awesome! Friendly, genuine, and kind. You could tell she likes what she does. I'm sorry I didn't catch her name. Rooms are 4* quality, staff friendly, food and drink reasonably priced. Set on the edge of the lake district, ideal for 2-3 night stay. Bower House Inn Nestled in the Eskdale Valley, Bower House Inn is 4 miles from the Cumbrian coast. This 17th century 3 star inn offers superb food in its restaurant and rooms with en suite bathrooms. Set across 2 buildings, Bower House Inn is quiet hotel, set in beautiful countryside. With free WiFi, rooms feature TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. Lovely homely property, really welcoming lady on the front of house. Room was clean and cosy, Had both dinner and breakfast at the property, both of which were lovely and reasonably priced - proper pub food! Only £10 extra to have the dog stay with us and she was welcome to come with us for dinner and breakfast which was appreciated. Would definitely come and stay again.
